Myanmar Foreign Affairs Minister urges World leaders to act agains Climate change

New-York, on the 23rd of September, has gathered world leaders for an extraordinary session of UN Summit on Climate change, one year before the COP 21 in Paris, where major decisions are expected to be taken to struggle against global warming and all its consequences.

H.E. U Wanna Maung Lwin, Myanmar’s Foreign Affairs Minister, made an offensive speech to urge world leaders to take concrete actions.

In his speech, he mentions the importance of sustainable development: “Recognizing the importance of creating harmony and balance between economic development and environmental sustainability, we are integrating environmental considerations into the economic development planning process.
